STORY OF PERIFOCAL

Since 2005 ArtOptica LLC conducting treatment of myopia in children, using different methods. In 2009 we combined all our ophthalmological and technical experience to create effective and safe, permanent method to control myopia progression in children. After deep study of all actual clinical data and technical possibilities, we started to create such spectacle lens which will be able to provide an influence and be comfortable and safe at the same time. Decision was achieved in Perifocal spectacle lenses. Lenses was implemented in optometry in 2011.

Perifocal lenses optical features provides positive influence on the most of known myopogenic factors. This was proven in long-term clinical studies, conducted by independent institute. And other clinical data was proudly presented at International Myopia Conferences.

Perifocal lenses may be used even on predictor stage of myopia, before real myopia onset. Every year of myopia onset delay is 100% control of myopia.

Perifocal spectacles may be used at any stage and degree of myopia. But, stronger effect will be achieved on earliest possible stage.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Visit your local optic shop and ask for Perifocal spectacle correction (available in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland and South Africa. Note! Country list is not limited by said before)
Perifocal lenses must be prescribed by optometrist as a spectacle correction for distance.
Frame must be fitted well, without easy movements from initial position.
Spectacles must be used permanent for both distance and near-work (longer wearing provides better effect)
